Sample Preparation

  1. Conditioning:
    Spread the limestone powder in a thin layer (≤ 1 cm deep) on the pan and allow it to condition for 24 hours.
  2. Break Up Agglomerates:
    Use a metal scoop to gently break apart any clumps.
  3. Environmental Conditions:
    • Relative Humidity (RH): 40% – 60%
    • Temperature: 22 – 28°C
      If these conditions cannot be maintained, record RH and temperature for at least 8 hours before testing and include them in your report.
